Jack Tolleson (1951-2020)

Services for Jack William “J.W.” Tolleson, 69, of Knox City, were scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Kyle White officiating.

Interment followed in Sand Flat Cemetery.

Mr. Jack W. Tolleson was born October 15, 1951, in Quanah to Thomas Edwin & Berniece Harley Tolleson. He lived most of his life in Tyler before moving to Knox City in 2013. He attended school in Grand Saline and loved football and basketball. J.W. worked as a painter for Carl & Ron Troxell in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his brother, Norman Tolleson and wife Sue of Knox City; two sisters, Mary Staggs and husband James of Grand Saline, and Cora Brown and husband Floyd of Grand Saline; aunt, Jewell Herring of Grand Saline; two nieces; ten nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends 6-8 p. m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
