Savallo was currently in the hospital recovering from double Pneumonia and COVID-19. Abby’s sister-in-law said she has been making good progress. She has been awake and responding. The community is asked to join the family of Abby Savallo for a picture taken by a drone. Sister-in-law Amber said, “We plan to take a picture of everyone in their Abby’s Van Zandt County Genealogical Society to Meet October 24 Army shirts then we want the community to come together and all spell out Abby’s name and get drone shots of it. I’d also like us to say “#StayStrongAbby” in a drone view!!” There will be a camera set up on ground for anyone wanting to record some encouraging words for Abby. Y’all our girl is fighting hard, and she’s doing great but she has a long ways to go! I just want to do this to encourage her and make her smile!” The family plans to have the picture taken around 5:45-6:00 p.m. at Erik and Marcie Beth Hicks place located at 12688 Fm 17 Grand Saline, TX 75140. There will be firewood in the front of location.

Savallo’s sister-in-law said, “thank you so much to The Hicks’ for allowing us to use their place and to Brian Rains at Empired Drone Worx for donating his services!”
