A Memorial For Missing Grand Saline Woman Scheduled for September

August 16, 2020

GRAND SALINE--There will be a Memorial to Honor Judy Marie Foster’s life Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Bedrock RV Inn & Event Center located at 1995 VZ County Road 1803.
Foster was born October 15, 1952, maiden name Oliver, has been missing since September 8, 1990. She was last seen at the bear grounds in Grand Saline, Texas, her daughter Jamie Easley said. Foster was 37 years old at the time of her disappearance.
Easley says all friends and family are invited to come together to share stories, cry, laugh and show her the love they all had for her.
In Foster’s honor, Easley wants to do something that can help others in some way. Instead of a balloon release, in which she said harms wildlife, she would rather do something that her mom would love to see happen. She would like for everyone to bring filled or empty backpacks, bring books, journals, pens, pencils, crayons, sketch pads, etc. Easley plans to go around with everyone participating and donate these items to the local schools in her mom’s name. She asks that everyone help her make a difference.
At this memorial, there will be a memory table, snacks and drinks, and a signature memorial rock.
If you have any photos of Judy or her with you, you are encouraged to bring and share; there will be a photo wall.
