Garry Don Hopkins

Memorial services for Garry Don Hopkins, 68, of Grand Saline, were scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Heritage Trail Cowboy Church with Bro. C.R. Chapman officiating.
Mr. Hopkins passed away May 28, 2016, in Grand Saline. He was born November 18, 1947 in Dallas to Thomas O. & Lottie L. Hornsby Hopkins. He spent most of his life in Seagoville before moving to Grand Saline in 1992. Mr. Hopkins was a member of the U.S. Team Roping Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was also a member of Heritage Trail Cowboy Church. Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen Hopkins; and two brothers, Bill M. Hopkins and Larry Hopkins.
Survivors include his three daughters, Angie Yarbrough of Grand Saline, Paula Hopkins of Eustace and Kerri Hammack of Forney; brother, Jackie L. Hopkins of Grand Saline; three grandchildren, Sarah Ballard, Katelyn Hammack and Keller Hammack; one great-grandchild, Gage Ballard; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers were Bud Hopkins, Eddie Smith, Jimmy Woods, Bill Polley, Don Yarbrough, Butch Grier, Hunter Hopkins and Zack Bocco.
