District Invites Students for Back to School Bash at Public Pool; Announce 2018 Teacher/Football Ticket Info

GRAND SALINE--It is hard to believe for some, and an eternity a-coming for others, but the summer is wrapping and and back to school preparations are in full swing around the GSISD campus. This year, the district is inviting students to the Grand Saline Public Pool for a Back to School bash on August 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.!
The event will include free swimming, Kona Ice will be on site, and there will be school supplies for students that are school aged!
GSISD thanked Morton Salt, UT Health East Texas in Grand Saline, and Main Street Baptist Church for your donations and support of Grand Saline ISD students.
The district also emphasized that ALL letters to students containing information about teacher assignments for this coming school year will be available in the Elementary school office Friday, August 3rd from 8:00 am to noon. Remaining letters will be mailed Monday, August 6th.
With the return of the school year, Friday Night Lights will soon shine on the horizon all across East Texas. If you are interested in renewing your season tickets, or if you are interested in purchasing tickets for the 2018 football season, you can purchase them on campus starting August 6, for returning ticket holders. Football Season Tickets: Preseason Return Ticket Holders 08/06/2018 – 08/17/18; All other Ticket Sales 08/20/18 – 08/31/2018. Tickets can be picked up at the Superintendents Office.
