Joe Doyle Williams (1928-2017)

Services for Joe Doyle Williams, 88, of Grand Saline, were scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.

Interment followed in Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Williams passed away February 19 in Grand Saline. He was born May 14, 1928, in Grand Saline to Luther & Annaneta McLain Williams. Mr. Williams spent most of his life in Grand Saline where he was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church and retired from the City of Mesquite as a street supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James David Willliams; sisters, Amanda Williams, Reba Merle Skinner and Mildred Thompson; and brother, Leonard Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Eva Nell Williams of Grand Saline; four sons, Jackie Williams and wife Denise of Mesquite, Michael Ray Williams and wife Angie of Jacksonville, Tommy Williams and wife Lisa of Grand Saline and Donald Williams and wife Tammy of Rockwall; four daughters, Jo Nell Williams of Grand Saline, Linda Ann Ballard and husband Jimmy of Rockwall, Marie Griggers and husband Craig of Combine and Donna Kay Chitty of Grand Saline; sister-in-law, Alma Neal of Grand Saline; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special friends, Felix & Loretta Vasquez of Grand Saline; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Michael Williams, Tommy Williams, Donald Williams, Casey Williams, Michael Fuller and Jacob Ballard.
Honorary pallbearer were Clarence Williams.
