Elva Gillentine (1935-2022)

Services for Elva Fay Gillentine, 86, of Grand Saline Tx, were scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at Eubanks Funeral Home Mabank Tx with Pastors James Massey and Brian McWhorter officiating.
Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery Forest Grove in McKinney (Lucas), Texas.
ggMrs. Gillentine passed away February 7, 2022, in Grand Saline. She was born April 16, 1935, in Waxahachie Tx, the youngest of 5 children.  She moved to Dallas Tx as a child and lived there until moving to Mabank in 1987. She moved to Grand Saline in 2006. Elva was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Mabank from 1987 until death.

Elva is preceded in death by her parents Elbert & Annie Thedford of Dallas; Siblings Blanche Adams of Dallas, Hariel Thedford of Ennis Tx, Maudie McWhorter of Dallas, Archie Thedford of Dallas; her Son Michael Isbell Sr of Athens Tx; and her Husband Noah Gillentine of Mabank.
Survivors include her daughter, Dianna McCarty and son in law John of Grand Saline; daughter in law, Doris Isbell of Athens Tx; Grand Children; Christie and Chad Green of Bastrop Tx, Stacie Goodwin of Athens, Mike and Rebecca Isbell of Columbus Ohio, Cecil Isbell of Athens, Logan Anderson of Grand Prairie and Spencer Wollard of Canton Tx.  She had seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  She also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family received friends 9-10am, Friday, at the funeral home.
